What are Electrical temperature measuring instruments

Image
Electrical temperature measuring instruments are devices used to measure the temperature of an object or material and temperatures inside a sealed enclosure. They can be either analog or digital and come in various shapes and sizes. Analog devices use a thermocouple, which is a metal-coated electrical resistance heating device that converts heat energy into mechanical motion. The sensors of these instruments are often mercury-based thermocouples (or platinum resistance thermometers), which convert thermal energy into an electrical current. These sensors record temperatures at discrete intervals, allowing them to provide more accurate readings than other analog instruments. They also tend not to require physical contact with the target object, making them easier to use remotely.
